Jerry Hewitt is an architect, designer and artist whose career spans 5 decades and 4 continents.
He has designed a wide variety of public and commercial buildings, visitor experiences, exhibitions, retail environments, and private homes. He founded and ran architectural and design consultancies in London, Auckland, and Wellington, from which he managed projects in the UK, France, Germany, Denmark, Canada, USA, China, Japan, Australia and New Zealand.
He established FIT Architects Ltd in Wellington, which has been responsible for numerous local projects, such as The Royal Thai Embassy, Ourspace – Te Papa Tongarewa, Tuhura – Dunedin Museum, and Manea – Footprints of Kupe. His 2-decade long collaboration with Gibson International has created visitor experiences around the world, delivering a unique marriage of built environments and cutting-edge digital experiences which have won numerous international awards.

Ship-to-Shore
